North Carolina Federation of Republican Woman Legislative Day and Commemorative Tea at the NC Governor’s Mansion

Tuesday, May 19th (Alternate date if postponed due to COVID-19: June 16th)


10:00 – 11:30 – Meet in Room 425 in the Legislative Office Building where you will hear from many of our elected Republican legislators. 300 N Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 

11:30 – 1:30 – Meet in the House of Representatives for our annual photo. We usually visit the Senate chambers also. If the Legislators go into session we will sit in the balcony for the opening remarks. You may also have time to visit the offices of your local officials. 

1:30 – We will meet and walk together to the Governor’s Mansion. 

2:00 – 3:30 – A Commemorative Tea at the Governor’s mansion to celebrate 100 years of Women’s Suffrage. The limit for seats is 80 persons, so RSVP immediately. We must submit the list of attendees one week prior to the event. 

From the Governor’s Mansion: Due to security requirements, no one will be admitted to the event whose name does not appear on the list of expected guests. Picture ID is required. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Costs for the Day:

Cost is $35.00 for the Tea.( No early bird)

Legislative Day is Free.

If you plan to attend both, please reserve for both.
