ReOpen NC, April 28, 2020

Here is a very interesting video from the ReOpen NC rally on April 28, 2020. The protesters are a diverse group of North Carolinians. This shutdown is affecting women, immigrants, and disabled workers disproportionally. Where is the outcry from political groups that claim to represent these populations?

You can view the video here. Thank you to Cindy Watko for producing and allowing us to share!

“Yesterday, Paul Cornel Dunas and I attended the third #ReOpenNC rally. I was struck by the impact this overreactive shutdown is having on women, middle class workers without a 4 year degree, and those with disabilities. Why are they being targeted? Could it be because they have little political voice or clout? Immigrants were also very concerned about their freedoms and the direction in which the government is heading (many fear tyranny and socialism).

It was fascinating talking with ordinary citizens so impassioned that they drove over 2 hours to attend the rally. #GovernorCooper must #LiberateNC now. People are becoming increasingly frustrated and fearful. #Letfreedomreign

Sorry for the lengthiness of the video. Hard to edit when people are expressing sincere fears and concerns. Please share and become involved in this fight for the economy future of NC.
